Q. Can I join a beginner's class?
A. Yes, after our annual Open Day in April, we are running a course of 4 coaching sessions over 4 weeks for new bowlers.
Q. Are the classes mixed gender?
A. Yes, the course is open to both men and women.
Q. Having joined the club can I play in local leagues?
A. Yes you can. The Bournemouth and District Bowling Association (B&DBA) runs leagues for affiliated clubs on Saturday mornings and afternoons, and on Tuesday evenings.
Q. I am still working and have a young family - what bowling can I participate in?
A. You can come and practice at any time that suits you and also play in the leagues on Saturdays and/or Tuesdays.
Q. Is the club open all year?
A. We are open for the outdoor season from mid-April to the end of September. In the off-season when the green is closed, we run twice-weekly social short mat bowls sessions in the clubhouse along with quiz nights and other social events for members to enjoy.
