Richmond Park Bowls Club - Bournemouth

If you ask our members why they joined Richmond Park Bowls Club, most of them would say it was because of the warm and friendly welcome they received when they first walked through the door.

We’re a diverse bunch and there are no cliques or club politics - we all get on well and love the game of bowls.

Centrally situated

We have a professionally-maintained bowling green - arguably one of the best in Bournemouth - and it’s easy to get to from all parts of Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. As a member you’re entitled to use it as often as you like throughout the bowling season (April - September).

Great facilities

Our spacious clubhouse has a fully licensed bar where drinks are available after every game and during social events. During the off season there are various indoor activities to enjoy, including short mat bowls, quiz nights, darts and card games.

So Much More to Enjoy!

We've agreed to share our clubhouse with Winton Cricket Club and they have generously supplied and installed a widescreen TV and a pool table plus free Wi-fi, all of which will be available for members of both clubs and visiting players to use.

Bowls is:

  • A competitive sport
  • Skilful, tactical and addictive
  • Good exercise - both physical and mental
  • Sociable
  • A game for all ages and abilities

Local League Matches

We play Bournemouth and District League matches against competing clubs on Saturday mornings and afternoons and on Tuesday evenings. Take a look at the Results and League Tables to see how we've done in previous seasons.

Each year there are various club competitions you can enter to test yourself against the other club members, and there’s also the chance to play friendlies with touring clubs that visit us from time to time during the season.

*Any touring clubs that would like to include Richmond Park on their trip please get in touch.
